I dont see why having a Tiger Mom would be necessarily any more or less traumatizing than having a Don Draper Mom. I personally am skeptical of ever looking to people for ideals. There are a number of other conference talks on the subject (righteous traditions, family traditions, etc.). Again, its about building testimony and gaining faith.
